Privacy Policy

Short version: the tools run on your own device. We do not have accounts, we do not set cookies, we run no analytics, and we never receive the files, text or numbers you put into a tool.

This policy is effective from 16 August 2026. It describes the site as it is built today. If that changes, this page changes at the same time.

What we do not collect

  • Your input. Every tool is JavaScript running in your browser. What you type, paste or upload is processed on your device and is never transmitted to us. We could not read it even if we wanted to, because it never arrives.
  • Accounts. There is no signup, no login and no email capture anywhere on this site.
  • Cookies. This site sets no cookies of any kind. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
  • Analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, and no analytics product of any kind on this site.
  • Advertising. There are no ads and no advertising or tracking scripts.

The exceptions, stated plainly

Two tools cannot work without asking someone else, because the answer they give does not exist on your device:

  • What Is My IP asks api.ipify.org for your public address. Your browser cannot see its own public address, so this request is the tool.
  • IP Geolocation sends the address you look up to ip-api.com, because the geolocation database lives on their servers.

Both tools say so on their own pages before you use them. Those two services receive the request and are governed by their own privacy policies, not this one. No other tool contacts anything.

What happens simply by loading a page

We are not going to pretend a web page is magic. Loading any page on this site involves:

  • Our host. The site is served as static files by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes the network request, which includes your IP address, in order to deliver the page. We do not add any logging of our own on top of that.
  • Two content delivery networks. Stylesheets and a small number of libraries load from cdnjs.cloudflare.com and cdn.jsdelivr.net. Those requests reveal your IP address and the file being requested to those CDNs. Every file we load from them is pinned with a Subresource Integrity hash, so a compromised CDN cannot substitute different code.

Your rights

Under the UK and EU GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. In practice there is nothing here for those rights to act on, because we hold no account, no profile and no record of your use of the tools. There is no data to disclose, correct or erase, because none is ever collected.

You also have the right to complain to your data protection regulator. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office.

We do not currently publish a contact address. If that matters to you, the honest position is that this is a small site that collects nothing, and we would rather say so than publish an address nobody reads.

Children

This site is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If we ever introduce advertising or analytics, the claims above stop being true. We will change this page in the same release, not afterwards, and the effective date at the top will move.
